LAS MALAS

LAS MALAS is a recently created artistic collective formed by Anna Pérez (@annaperezmoya) & Rakel Con Ká (@rakelconkah).

SCREAM QUEEN, the selected project, aims to be a tribute to horror films by delving into the slasher genre, but also a performative dance project, a tribute to the pop culture related to them, to the fears that run deep within each of us, and to the role of women in this kind of film. From an acerbic, critical point of view, it questions gender roles and the roles of victim/executioner and is committed to new performing arts languages in order to reach the deepest level and confirm that the true theme of horror is nothing more than the recognition of everything society represses.
