HANSEL NEZZA · COLECTIVO PARAPENTE
PRISAMATA!
Fragile. Territory. Common. is a performing arts research project that combines dance, movement, and philosophical and social disciplines to reflect on new models of social and ecological relationships. Faced with the environmental crisis and the effects of capitalism and colonialism, it raises the urgent need to rethink the current social and economic system.
Hansel Neza
Born in Barcelona, he studies performing arts following the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq. He completed the Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in the Nalanda Masters Course in Buddhist Philosophy at Tibet House, New Delhi, and studies Arts at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
He is currently the director of the PARAPENTE Artistic Collective and is collaborating with the companies Vero Cendoya, Clementine & Lisard, Andrés Waksman, and Wilky_Troc.
As a creator, his works include Rita o el Devenir, winner of the CINTA22 awards for best direction, performance, and show; the video installation Cámara Oscura, premiered at Mercat de les Flors; Cenital at Üferstudios Berlin; INTER.FEAR, selected and programmed at Dance Umbrella and the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa; and Crow's Nest, selected by Random Collision and premiered at KORZO, The Hague. During his years in Berlin, he worked as a creator, performer, and dancer with, among others, Constanza Macras / Dorky Park and Berliner Philharmonie, and as choreographic assistant on Thomas Ostermeier's Der Tod in Venedig at Schaubühne Berlin.
PARAPENT COLLECTIVE
The PARAPENT COLLECTIVE, a multidisciplinary group of artists, creates and activates performing arts and audiovisual projects, installations, and processes of social reflection through the arts.
Parapent explores the stage as a space for dialogue from which to find poetic and sensory forms that question and propose alternatives to the anthropocentric and rationalist view.
Its creations have been seen in Spain, Mexico, South Africa, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Greece.
