The loneliness of melancholy is like a black hole: you can imagine it, invent stories about it, and fear it, but no one feels brave enough to approach it for fear of falling in with no way out. Melancholy is a submerged and hidden state that marks our time. It is a form of lucidity that remains at the margins and on the periphery of the world.

María Jurado proposes a journey through the cultural history of melancholy and depression, creating a space that presents no solution but offers an opportunity to open wounds and scars, put them on the table, and begin to question them.
